Nutritional Facts

Bonito del Norte is a healthy food choice, essential for a balanced diet. Its high nutritional value increases when it is preserved. In addition, canned bonito can benefit from the nutritional added value of other products (such as olive oil).

The Bonito del Norte is rich in proteins (of high biological value) and contains a large amount of vitamins (A, B, B12 and D, as well as E, which exerts an antioxidant protective effect). Provides minerals such as calcium and iodine, essential for metabolism.

Its meat is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It thus collaborates in reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In addition, omega 3 is essential in the nervous tissue and in the retina, since it is part of its cells.

It is a highly recommended food for the full neurological and ocular development of children, since the retina and the nervous system are still in formation.
